Did you know that there exists a national anthem which has no official lyrics? Do you know who is the world-renowned author whose novel is rated as the second most translated text after the Bible? These and other interesting questions were part of one of the many fun activities which are organized at SIFIL to give its students a global viewpoint.

This time the occasion was the New Year Celebration and our students welcomed it with panache! In consonance with our motto, “The World is One Family”, students of all six foreign languages were given a treat of intercultural fun facts. A “QR Quest” was organized based on the cultural aspects of China, Korea, France, Germany, Japan and Spanish speaking countries. Around 90 students of SIFIL took part in this interesting treasure hunt. The campus was reverberating with energy and positivity.

Needless to say, the challenge required a lot of teamwork and coordination and our students sailed through with flying colours! They learned many interesting facts about both eastern and western cultures and had a gala time making new friends. So the new year started with a bang at SIFIL.
